On the 9th December 2019, The Carbon Recycling Network sponsored the Annual Synthetic Biology UK conference at the University of Warwick
The Biochemical Society organised the event, which was hosted by WISB (Synthetic Biology Research Centre Warwick)
Synthetic Biology UK 2019 explored the unique opportunities of research in a number of areas of synthetic biology, establishing likely future directions and facilitating discussion about appropriate strategies. It also provided an excellent framework for younger scientists and engineers to learn about burgeoning new areas of activity, including the engineering of microbial communities and of microbial-plant interactions.

The Carbon Recycling Network also hosted an Exhibition stand at this event highlighting the network and the other NIBB this also gave delegates the opportunity to join the network.
